The University of Calabar has appointed Environmental and Human Rights Lawyer and former Special Adviser, New Media to Governor Ben Ayade, Dr. Dornclaimz Enamhe as its Alumni Relations Officer.
In a letter signed by the University Registrar, Gabriel Egbe dated January 20, the University said his appointment was based on his record of accomplishments and passion for his alma mater.
As Alumni Relations Officer, Enamhe will be expected to develop and coordinate policies and programmes designed to promote alumni relations globally, build a robust data base of alumni worldwide and develop, sustain and strengthen alumni chapters worldwide.
Egbe further said by his appointment he will plan, coordinate, and attend events, meetings, or other activities that will promote the course of the university.
Enamhe, who holds a doctorate degree in Industrial Sociology, also has degrees in Agriculture, Sociology, Environmental Science, Education, Law, Public Administration and Political Science, is a Chartered Mediator on mediation and work place conflict from the United Kingdom.
